Compliance Analyst – Trade Association

A leading trade association are looking to hire a Compliance Analyst to support the internal Compliance Programme and assist with market development projects, with a focus on data and analytics.  This is a great role for an individual who as a keen interest in beginning their Compliance/Regulatory career.

Main Responsibilities:

• Complete Know Your Customer (KYC) / Due Diligence checks on prospective and existing Members and Service Providers
• Responsible for ensuring all client documentation is handled and filed appropriately in line with our policies
• Supporting brand protection and infringement measures with investigation and market intelligence gathering to protect the reputation of the association
• Supporting the Senior Compliance Associate with the facilitation and associated workstreams of the Regulatory Affairs Committee
• Managing any compliance-related work processes through CRM systems
• Responsible for maintaining and updating Compliance Contacts information in the CRM
• Represent the company and provide support at external functions

Job Requirements:

• An interest in developing a knowledge of UK and European compliance regulations and the relevant regulatory industry is essential
• Good skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe packages
• First class organisational skills, with ability to handle a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong business writing and proof-reading skills are essential.
• Adopts a proactive approach and has a willingness to learn.
