Legal Secretary – Office Based

Our client, a family run firm of solicitors are looking to recruit an Legal Secretary to join their busy team.  This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys a varied role, has strong administrative skills, and thrives in a client-facing environment.

The role will be based in their Hertfordshire offices 5 days a week.

Main Responsibilities:

• Answering and directing telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
• Greeting clients and visitors to the office.
• Providing administrative and secretarial support to the conveyancing team.
• Managing correspondence, filing, and general office administration.
• Assisting with conveyancing matters and supporting fee earners when required.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient handling of client files.
• Previous experience in a legal secretarial role is preferred.
• Experience within a conveyancing team or assisting with conveyancing matters is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to balance telephone and administrative duties effectively.
• Excellent communication and client care skills
