Portfolio Risk Analyst

A leading UK wealth manager is seeking a Front Office Risk & Control Analyst to join its first line risk team.

Focused on portfolio risk oversight, the role offers broad exposure across the investment business and close collaboration with Risk & Compliance.

This role is based in the London office with hybrid working.

 Job Requirements

• Carry out ongoing portfolio risk reviews to confirm client portfolios align with regulatory requirements and internal standards, and help refine how that oversight is performed.
• Develop management information and performance metrics that evidence good client outcomes and adherence to policy.
• Help investigate and resolve instances where portfolios fall outside agreed client parameters.
• Contribute to reporting for senior governance forums and act as a go-to contact for investment staff on portfolio risk queries.
• Support training, process improvement and greater use of data and automation across the team.
• Bring analytical experience from a retail-focused investment management environment, strong Excel skills, working knowledge of FCA conduct rules, and ideally familiarity with Bloomberg or Morningstar.
