Investment Compliance Manager

We are working as sole agency with a fund management firm looking to hire an Investment Compliance Manager to join their business in a newly created role.

This individual will act as a key stakeholder in the Compliance function, working closely with the business on a day-to-day basis. Providing advice whilst also required to bring a strong Investment Compliance background, ideally with knowledge & coding experience of the Blackrock Aladdin system.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, working autonomously when required, with excellent product knowledge, particularly LDI strategies.

Strong communication & training skills are a must as this role will have an important role in the continued education & training of staff across multiple office locations globally.

The role requires minimum of 3 days in the office and will ideally cover market hours, 8am-5pm.

Job Requirements:

• Manage the Compliance Module on Blackrock Aladdin, overseeing coding, amendments, and resolving trade alerts.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies to fulfil regulatory obligations, with emphasis on Market Abuse, Regulatory Reporting, EMIR, and Order Execution.
• Support risk-based compliance monitoring and testing.
• Address emerging compliance issues with management and third parties.
• Strong knowledge of LDI strategies for pensions funds.
• Deliver staff training on compliance policies and procedures.
