Head of Compliance – AFM Authorisation Experience Required

We are working with a leading financial services firm that operates through broker dealer firms globally. They are looking to hire a Head of Compliance, on a temp to perm basis, to take them through the authorisation process with the Dutch regulator (AFM) as the business continues to expand globally.

Suitable candidates will have previous experience taking a firm through this authorisation process and must also have a strong knowledge of Digital Assets.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years working within Compliance with a strong background across brokerage & digital assets.
• Must have previous experience of taking a similar firm through the authorisation process with the AFM.
• Regulatory liaison experience, essential.
• Excellent knowledge of crypto asset custody & tokenised securities.
• Proven experience building our a Compliance function from scratch.
• Hands-on approach, must be comfortable working autonomously within a start-up environment.
