Group Head of Tax – US Filings

We are recruiting for leading financial services provider focussing on delivering trading, settlement and custody solutions to a number of different clients who are seeking a Head of Tax to join their business.

This role is a key senior management position that must own and continually improve the workflow for the US Withholding Tax Filing product.

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of US withholding tax regimes, essential. Including but not limited to;
  • Chapter 3 – Withholding of Tax on Non-resident Aliens & Foreign Entities
  • Chapter 4 – FATCA
  • Chapters 31 & 61 (W-9 / 1099)
• Experience within a similar Financial Services firm, preferable.
• Practical experience managing or designing W-8BEN and W-9 collection and validation processes.
• Strong knowledge of withholding statements, 1042-S and 1099 reporting requirements,
• Familiarity with IRS e-filing systems, desirable.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex tax processes clearly.
