Senior Investment Risk Analyst

A Wealth & Asset Management business based in London are looking for an Senior Investment Risk Analyst to join their expanding risk function. This role will work closely with the business, providing advice on a day-to-day basis. As a newly created role this is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a rapidly changing Investment Risk function as the business continues to grow.

Main Responsibilities:

• Track risk metrics against established levels such as VaR, tracking error, and market volatility.
• Assist investment managers with capital allocation and portfolio construction.
• Oversee and address investment risk issues.
• Design and conduct market and liquidity stress tests for funds.
• Analyse risk and performance data relative to benchmarks and peer groups, including derivatives. Set risk limits to align fund profiles with objectives.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with product development teams on risk assessment and liquidity testing.
• Support various projects and assignments.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years Investment Risk experience with in a similar Wealth or Asset Management business.
• Strong knowledge of UCITS & AIFMD
• Excellent IT skills, including previous experience using Factset. Bloombert PORT and high-level Excel knowledge.
• Analytical thinker, must be comfortable working autonomously at times whilst supported by the broader Risk function.
• Excellent communication skills essential.
