Senior Consultant – Prudential

A leading international consultancy firm are looking to recruit Senior Consultant to join their Prudential team.  The team specialises in providing regulatory advice and guidance to clients across different financial services sectors, supporting them to maintain adequate financial resources and manage risk in accordance with regulatory requirements and their commercial objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality client work as part of the engagement delivery team
• Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management
• Conducting structured reviews of documents, models and related materials as well as and gap analyses and research into against regulatory requirements and industry practices
• Structuring and conducting client interviews and process walk-throughs
• Developing solutions and drafting reports which incorporate detailed recommendations
• Presenting recommendations and feedback to clients

Job Requirements:

• Degree level education
• Ideal candidate will have experience of one or more of the following Banking (including building societies), Wealth and Asset Management or Insurance (GI, brokers or life)
• Prudential regulatory handbooks, technical instructions and applicable legislation
• Knowledge of how prudential risk processes, governance and controls are typically implemented in one or more industry sectors (see below)
• Good working knowledge of regulatory institutions, their objectives and operations
