Compliance Associate

A private markets, impact investor, is looking to hire a Compliance Associate to join their Compliance function in a very generalist compliance role. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a private markets focused business and most importantly must be a driven & proactive individual, comfortable working within a fast paced working environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Keep up to date with relevant regulatory changes from both the FCA and overseas regulators.
• Assist in the execution of the testing required as part of the Firm’s annual Compliance Monitoring Programme.
• Create and/or update policies and procedures.
• Assist with building a Risk Matrix across the business.
• Carry out day-to-day Compliance duties, including but not limited to, PA Dealing and Gifts & Entertainment.
• Ad-hoc Risk & Compliance duties. 

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years Compliance experience, with a good understanding of a Private Markets, Investment Management business.
• Public Markets knowledge, preferable.
• Degree educated
• Proactive, driven individual.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must be comfortable building relationships across the business.
